Courtney is Autistic, ADHD, and OCD & Daniel is an ADHDer. They utilize play-based learning, sensory play, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Montessori, and respectful parenting in their own family.
One of their core values is encouraging a child’s individuality and meeting them where they are. They believe in the power of playing to learn and try to reflect these ideas in all their toys!
Courtney came up with the idea for the Learn & Drop during the pandemic. Then came up with the idea for the Emotions Coin Drop in 2022.
With the support of several family members, both toys were launched together in January 2023 with a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign was fully funded in 24 hours! Then in March 2023, the toys officially hit the market.
